I did a search for this question with no results, so here goes (forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere).

While setting up my QAD on my new Pulse, the rest does not make any contact with the shelf when in the down position. The same model rest did sit on the shelf on my Assassin when in the down position.

Should it make contact? Does it matter if it is 1/4 off the shelf when in the down position?

it is better to not make contact. less chance to make noise and nothing for it to impact.

I have a QAD on my Pulse and it hits the shelf just slightly.
Remember that the arrow needs to run through the middle of the berger hole.
You may be too high.

If your qad is hitting the shelf then your allowing bounce back. The qad has an internal break to prevent this. With it hitting the shelf your not.taking advantage of its technology.

It hits felt past 90 degrees on a down angle. No bounce back.
