Your kisser button is used for a positive anchor point. Your anchor point is like the rear sight on a rifle. If your anchor point changes as you are shooting, your arrows will all impact in different places.

No question is a dumb question.. your just brave enough to ask..

There is a thread in here somewhere talking about kisser buttons.. Do a search you'll be surprised on the posts about kissers..



But no, the kisser is not your nocking point.

the kisser button is used as an anchor point. You should have more than one reference point in your anchor. Your knuckle on bone, your nose on the string,looking thru a peep, and/or a kisser button. A kisser can be misused also. most guys put it in the corner of their mouth,you need to make sure it is on a tooth or something solid. I have watched guys purse thir lips to get to their kisser(how can that be consistant?). if it feels good to you and helps you solidify your anchor by all means use one. Dont forget it will cost you ,3,4 fps or more.
