I have a new july 08 dxt
I am pulling full poundage which actually read 72lb at the dealer 29" draw
new winners choice string and cables with the bow
trophy ridge drop zone rest & matrix sight
no quiver on bow, redhawk peep

carbon express maxima 350 and terminator lite 6750
standard nock, 100 grain tip
every chrono test reads @ 251 - 258

where is the 300 +

or does my bow guy have a defective machine, i know the large peep will slow it down a bit , but this does'nt seem right.

help please

yep something seems off, i am getting 271 with a 383gr. maxima at 28 in. with an 09 DXT 27.5dl, at 70# roughly. your arrow will be a little heavier maybe but you should be doing better with the longer dl i would think

bow is quiet, no hand shock, packs arrows great
can't figure it out myself, i have been shooting 22 years my form is good or at least good enough. i have checked it out several times centershot etc.

For every inch of draw length you go down you will lose 10 FPS
For every 5# draw weight you go down you will lose 10 FPS
For every 3 grains of weight your arrow is over IBO ( 5 grains per pound) you will lose 1 FPS
For every 3 grains of weight you add to your string you will lose 1 FPS

try another charno and if you get the same read check your poundage, hows the wear on your strings? are your nock fitting to tight (can create drag)
