I shoot split finger with a glove and was developing some numbness in my middle finger so I have been trying something different. I bought a Black Widow with calf and one with Super leather and I like them both, and the extra padding does seem to help. I am also taking a deeper hook which helps. However, I still have a bit of an issue with the numbness. I think this may have to do with the split between the middle and ring finger. To test this theory, I am looking at a Bateman Barebow cordovan tab. Can anyone with experience with both tabs give a compare/ contrast between the two?

Thanks Hank!
Just the kind of info I was hoping for. Less padding might not be the answer.
I was admiring the Black Mamba Venom II as well. Bit pricey, but looks like good quality. I'm guessing since its your go to tab, it is worth the investment?
I have fairly large chunky hands (40 years of carpentry will do that to you :) ). My palms are 4" wide and kinda square and my fingers are: index 3", middle 3.25" and ring 2.875" from the crease.
Definitely not girl hands. How does this compare with yours?

Looks like the Bateman and the original Venom have some serious miles on them! :) Thanks so much for the comparison. Seeing them side by side is very helpful!
Do you prefer the original Venom spacer or the new Axiom one?
