Has anyone hunted from a ground blind for whitetails, that set the blind up out in the open? Whether it was a soy bean field, corn field or a CRP field of weeds, has anyone had any luck with this type of set up?

The reason I'm asking bowhunters east of the Mississippi, is that the human population is larger and whitetails are exposed to more human contact, thus tend to be more wary of ground set ups of any kind. :frusty:
