Building some new 5mm Axis arrows and saw eastons new match grade 55 grain half out. All I wanna know is will these be durable and hold up for hunting and lots of target practice? Seen a lot of hate for half outs but these had some positive reviews. Just wanna know if they’ll hold up well.

Not sure of the 5mm but I have yet to have an issue with the 4mm. I assume the 5mm would be even stronger but I have no proof or experience.

I just got some Easton 5mm precision half-outs in with my HLR shafts, but have not made them up yet. I have made up a BUNCH of 4mm using different versions of the same half-out for the 4mm's and they are awesome. Best thing Easton has done for the weak link on 4mm. That is the only reason I ordered them for the 5mm's, I have a lot of faith in them at this point.

I haven’t tried them yet, but plan to soon on an upcoming build. Check out the arrow wizard in ethics archery. Com and look at all the options they have for any shaft. Bought outsets from them twice so far, perfect I love there outsets.
