Easton Shaft Selection?

When using this guide, it ask for arrow length.. does it mean the length of your arrow shaft or is it wanting your entire arrow length. Didnt know and it would make a big difference.. thanks for your help.

The arrow length is from the groove of the nock (where it touches the string) to the front of the shaft (not the insert)
