This quick and easy camera mount is an affordable alternative to the commercially available system that everyone loves. The basic tilting mechanism can also be adapted to mount on standard steel t-posts that you see in barbed wire fence lines, or could be used as a tree mount by changing one of the eye bolts to an eye lag screw.

I've been using electric fence post stakes on my ground rigs because they are cheap, like me, but the split ring hangers in the design will take up to 3/4 inch rod if you want more stability, and are also available in larger sizes than what I used.

They work great. I use a thumb bolt with a wing nut instead of a bolt and nut. But that bumps the price up a bit.

Very clever ideas. Where I hunt they would be gone in a day since they are not in a steel box and chaned to the tree with a cable and lock.
