I am very curious if people are recieving the bows they ordered. Our local dealer has recieved exactly 2 bows. He has 20 or so people waiting for them.

What is the wait time? Are people happy with them?

Has anyone heard about the changes in the 07 bows? Are they planning on using a "Binary" cam? Can they even use it?

I got my Energy a few weeks ago. To be completely honest, I haven't been this excited about a bow in a while. Its funny, I have always said my perfect hunting bow would be around 36" ATA, 7" brace, low narrow grip with parallel (or close to it) limbs and around 320 IBO. Well, the Energy fits that bill to a T, except its actually faster.

I also really like how easy this bow was to tune. I've got this thing eating nocks now. Based on my experience with this company so far, I will be taking a hard look at their 2007 line also. All I have heard at this point is rumors and that some people have already pre-ordered.

When did you order it? Curious about the wait time...I know a few people that have waited for at least a couple of months.

I cancelled my order when I found out the specs had changed, then I realized they changed for the better (for me) and I re-ordered. From re-order to receipt of the bow it was 3 weeks.

They must. I talked to the supposed local dealer a week or so back and he still has not recieved one bow, and also said that noone would return his calls. He has had them on order for over four months. He was on the verge of canceling but I don't know for sure if he did. Terrible in my opinion.

I've had one on order since mid-May...bow shop had no clue as of last week, or was it the week before...don't remember when I called

said I could get it quicker if I went with the non-camo riser(which I did)....nothing by the end of August I'll have to go with something else

From what I was told they got 2 bows in....and have alot more on order(I think mostly to sell) and then mine is in that group also

I think they just got blown out the water with orders....guess a Bowtech upgrade is popular after all....

I've had several E-500's and sold every one. I do track my customers and how they like certain products. Two complaints, no quiver and cable guard stuff,(coming loose, easy fix/ cable slide). Other than that they love the bow. I have '07's on order now.

I have little doubt...

That if a dealer has them they will sell. What do you mean by "no quiver and cable guard stuff"?

I tend to not believe this. Everytime I call I'm able to reach someone. Tell him to call until he reaches a live person. If nobody picks up , listen to the menu then hit 4 for sales. Someone (Donna) always picks that one up.

If you are...maybe that is why the bow shops aren't getting any. Maybe they are filling all of the direct orders first. How long have you been waiting for yours?

One local dealer in this area who bought into a protected dealership in Feb. Got one bow. As of 7-1, He never said he had trouble talking to anyone, but evidently it didn't help. He told me he was done with them. The other 2 dealers in this area (neither a protected dealer) never even got one bow. Neither cares now. It is not hard to figure why Elites bows shipped to a majority of individuals versus dealers. For Elite it is either collect $400 or $600, which would you choose. I never had a bow ordered direct. I ordered one through a dealer in Early Feb. I got a lot sweeter price. That dealer never did get the bow with my specs. I wonder why:) A company that does not take care and build a good dealer network will have trouble surviving;)

I'm not about to question this mans integrity.... and I'm personally not that concerned if you don't believe it (not trying to sound like a jerk). All I know is that's what he told me. I do, however, know that he and myself, personally, have been lied to repeatedly over the phone and in e-mails by everyone at Elite and that is a FACT! So if your asking if I think he's making this up or if it's true and noone is returning his calls.....I'll base my opinion on a trust issue I have...I think I'll take his word for it! If you'd like to question him...feel free. He's the only dealer listed in MS.

It REALLY seems to me that they are filling past orders based on the Capital that is coming in on future orders. IF they did not have ANY orders from here on out I wounder if they could fill there backlog or not?

Saying that I think Mean2 is right on the money ( no pun intended) The diffrence is $8,000.00 a month shiping to individuals compared to dealers

If they are only building 40 or so a month...

Depends on when you want to say they started building bows, but my guess is they have not averaged that since Feb. and that's more than an educated guess;)
Lets just say that they have sent out 250 bows since February...how many of those went to dealers? Direct customers?

How many can they build before the August 31st cutoff?

Are they building the new ones yet? Have they even designed them yet?
