Elite Archery ~ What is the latest?

5914 Views 105 Replies 33 Participants Last post by  VorTexan
I am very curious if people are recieving the bows they ordered. Our local dealer has recieved exactly 2 bows. He has 20 or so people waiting for them.

What is the wait time? Are people happy with them?

Has anyone heard about the changes in the 07 bows? Are they planning on using a "Binary" cam? Can they even use it?

Lets just say that they have sent out 250 bows since February...how many of those went to dealers? Direct customers?

How many can they build before the August 31st cutoff?

Are they building the new ones yet? Have they even designed them yet?
I heard they are looking for temps. Maybe to help build bows. I am sure they will do everything in their power to deplete parts getting bows out the door before the cutoff date:)

You mean about having an "in house" dipping facility?

That actually is the truth. That's why they are hiring temps. They need people to hang the bows from the coat hangers and dip them into the bathtubs. And then someone to fill the tubs with pepto bismol when they are dipping the "Ice" models.
Anyone else?

So far I think 2 people have responded that they actually have one...Any more?
I have an E-500.

I got mine from a dealer which has received (and sold) 6 so far and have 4 more in transit. I traveled 3 hrs to get to a dealer that had them in stock.

I do believe there is a priority level on the dealers. While some can't get any I know of two that have gotten several.
T, Here is what I have for input. I ordered an E-500 on June 22 and I told Donna(Who I never have a hard time getting ahold of) that I needed it by Aug 1st. She said they could do that. That being said its the last day of July and I dont have the bow yet but I do have a tracking number and I know that the bow left Portland OR (via Fed Ex) on Saturday at 8:12am so I should have it in a day or two.
Thanks

by the skin of their teeth...LOL Did you order it direct? Hope you like it.
Tom
i do not have one or a dealer near me but cant wait to get my hands on an 80lb e-500. one dealer that i know in MASS has gotten quite a few and is elling them and loves them. dont know if it helps but thats what i have to offer. i think they will probably due better next year, a good guess is they were overwhelmed with interest, but i gotta tell ya i got just as much runaround and flat out lines from pearson this year and they are a very established company. in this area archery is growing faster than the shops can keep up, there is still no excuse for misinformation and flat out lying to keep people from looking at other companies. i for one really hope they make it.
i finally had to cancel my order of the ice bow which was on order since march, paying interest on my credit card which they still havent credited my account. thats no way to do business. oh yeah, i bought a equailizer instead, couldnt be happier!

I'm not about to question this mans integrity.... and I'm personally not that concerned if you don't believe it (not trying to sound like a jerk). All I know is that's what he told me. I do, however, know that he and myself, personally, have been lied to repeatedly over the phone and in e-mails by everyone at Elite and that is a FACT! So if your asking if I think he's making this up or if it's true and noone is returning his calls.....I'll base my opinion on a trust issue I have...I think I'll take his word for it! If you'd like to question him...feel free. He's the only dealer listed in MS.
Sorry, didn't mean to come off like that. I'm really not questioning anyone's integrity. It's just that I've called probably 30 times and got someone (usually Donna) every time but 1. They do seem to have trouble answering emails and actually that one time I left a message, they didn't call back. I just called the next day and got someone. Usually the best time to call is from 10:00 am til noon, and 2:00 pm to about 4:00 pm. Remember, that's Pacific time. People there are wearing more than one hat and I think they have a lot going on right now. Things will get better as time goes on.

I also have one in E-Leaf Brown. Fastest bow I've ever owned ( and that includes an '05 Allegiance). Smooth, fast, laminated limbs, Winners Choice strings, everything I wanted in a bow!

C'mon....Nothing is faster than the 05 Allegiance! No way I would buy a new BT they are not better than the 05....Kevin's mistake!
$750.00! I don't think so! I'll wait for Bowtech's O7's!!!
I ordered mine back 7-8 weeks back, and should have it tomorrow by the Fed Ed tracking number. Oh, that was the 80lb E-500 in E-leaf, RH. Got an E-force coming soon too. Never seen one, and there are no local dealers around here. So I ordered direct. Major SNAFU with the order, but Donna got it fixed for me the other day. Got all my accessories, ready to go to Crakers as soon as I have the bow in hand.
ELITE experience...

Nothing but positive feedback here, in regard to communication with Elite.
I tested the E-500 & the Energy way back in June and that dealer has had a steady flow of bows all summer---seems like there are some serious contradictions in regards to availibility and supply.
For $100 less than the comparable competitor--buy an Elite--use the "hundo" on accessories.
Best of luck to Elite.
