I decided that I am on here a lot and do not need email notification. I am however unable to stop it... Can anyone help? I think I changed my settings correctly. I did it a few days ago and I am still getting email notification.

Check your User CP. Currently: Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received is set to Yes .

I wanted to receive email notification for pm, but not for post and threads, do I have to change them all?

No, your current settings should work fine.

I thought I did that right...but I am still as of this writing getting email notifications for everything...and lots of them...Any thoughts?

You can either unsubscribe to threads you posted in or turn off instant email notification for subscribed threads.
Go to "Edit options" then scroll down to Messaging & Notification and in default subscription mode select "no email notification.

Notification seemed to stop for one day...now it is back and I did not change a thing...
Any ideas...
