I am getting an enclosed 6X12 trailer, mainly for hauling my 4 wheeler and hunting stuff around... Have heard of people using them as camper while at camp?!?! any comments or pictures of what people have done to their trailers would be cool!!!
Things I though of beside storage shelfs or racks would be like a fold up cot?!?

I have one myself for the same purpose. We set up a canvas wall tent and back the trailer up close to the front of it. Then we run a tarp over the tent and the trailer and use it as an extension to the tent for storing gear and such. Sometimes if there is just two of us or just me then the trailer gets used a the camp for sleeping and I just set up the tent frame with a tarp over it and cook outside. Another guy that I know had an awning added to the side of his trailer and then he uses tarps to enclose it for a camp?

Never tried an enlosed but not bad Idea. My old rig was an old slide in truck camper that I mounted to a flatbed trailer the overhang pointed forward and was framed for storage , with enough room in the rear for two atvs.

with an awning on the side , they make a screen room enclosures that fit the awning tube and snap to the side of unit with zippers in the front rain flaps and all.

If you will be sleeping in it and will have any kind of heat source or stove or even a gas lantern, definitely put in fresh air vents. Roof vents and maybe one on the side of the trailer to allow a flow of fresh air throughout.

I've seen a few different set-ups guys had pictures of over on Bowsite.com in the Elk Hunting section, I've considered the same myself, but can't talk myself into coughing up that kind of money for something I wouldn't use that much.

I thought about a tent fixture or something to close up the ramp end while inside!! but not sure if someone makes them or you'd have to custom make one!!!
A fold up cot would be easy with portable also, small propane heater would make it nice and toastie on them cold mountain mornings!!!
Any pictures of inside of what people have done?!?!?

One of my buddy's has one and we used Army cots to sleep on , he had a AC/Heater installed in the roof and also had it wired with lights and electrical outlets , so just plug it into a generator and it was all set ...

Toy haulers

You can find them motorized, fifth wheel or bumper pull. I just bought a 2006 bumper pull for my property in W.V. It is all self contained with kitchen, bed, tables, shower, heat, hot water. I found one for less than half price new and am looking forward to comfort while hunting this year.
