Enkore limb stops

Borrowed a press and draw board and been checking some things out.

Something thats been confusing me is the limb stops. Currently the cable stops are set to the full 90% letoff (may change later but the problem will still exist), when I put the limb stops in the 2nd hole the cable stop is approximately 1/16" from the cable which would just about put me at 85% letoff instead of the 90. If I put the limb stop in the 1st hole I push into the cable a good bit before the limb stop takes over. Am I forced to compromise one way or the other or is there and adjustment I'm not aware of to solve this?

If not I may try drilling and tapping the limb stop and putting a button head set screw to make it adjustable and just use the 1st hole.

Small thing I noticed but its bugging me why it doesnt match up.

If it helps its currently set at 90% letoff and at the position 9 which gives me a total of 26.75 DL.

yes you’re limited to one or the other. if the cable stop hits before the limb stop you can move the cable stop out. on my enkore i installed the top limb stop only and timed it so the top limb stop contacts the pad when the bottom cable stop contacts the cable.

Will that also shorten your draw length if you use the Limb Stops? I like the Limb Stop feel as opposed to the Cable Stop. I was going to increase my draw length by 1/4 to see if that gives me a better feel. I don't know if that would affect the letoff but it should feel better at full draw. I Think.

it depends where you put them, but then you can just rotate the module to put your draw length where you want it

I just adjusted bow to 28 1/4" draw. I put the stock limb stops on and my letoff is 78.4%. I might put the thinner draw stops back on which gave me an 1/8 th more before touching the stops. It feels like it gave me a little more letoff. Certainty more than 78.4 %. This is in the middle hole of the cable stops.

I wonder if you could instead use a regular limb stop, move it back one hole, then make it thicker to time correctly.

gonna paste something from another thread here to clear it up.

If the cams are synced so that the cable stop is hitting at the same time, the limb stops should be hitting at the same time as well. Why would you have to change the synchronization just to use limb stops?
Good question. I can't remember where I copied this from, and cannot guarantee its authenticity, but here you go:

I'm pretty new to my Rezult 36. No other tip has helped me as much as this comment from Nathan Brooks, responding to a viewer's questions. You guys all probably know this but thought I'd share just in case!

Hey Michael! So hang with me on this one... if you time the cable stops to hit perfectly both limb stops will not hit perfectly. I know this makes you scratch your head as to why but that is just how it works. If you want both limb stops to hit equally you will need to change your cam timing slightly. The bow isn’t “out of time” if you choose to do that because with both cams being slaved together they will stop and go equally. The bow will still tune perfectly. Remember that this could vary per draw length. So, I’m gonna throw one at you that you might like or maybe not. But personally I loved the way it felt. I only used one limb stop (on the top cam) and timed the bottom cable stop to hit equally. To me it feels awesome! Just remember that this system is crazy versatile and don’t get your mind “stuck in a box” thinking it can only be one specific way. It’s technically not a 2 cam bow, it’s binary. Which means timing doesn’t need to be equal for each cam to be “in sync”
