For some reason today I can't access the AT search feature so I haven't been able to find old posts on this topic.
I want to figure the weight of my arrows and am not sure how to do it.
Trying to decide if I lose much speed/KE by shooting 125gr broadheads or if 100s will be much better for my setup.

Arrow Setup:
27.5" Magnum super carbons (from insert to back of arrow mius nock - 8.1gpi)
standard nocks and inserts (came with arrows)
2" blazers (3 per arrow)
wraps (cut down to 4" on each arrow)

Shooting a Ross CR334, 27" draw, set to about 65lb, with a loop, G5 peep, CSS and rubber string limbsavers.

If anyone can guess my approx arrow weight, speed and KE, it would be greatly appreciated.:hail:

Well, the best thing I have ever bought for archery is a copy of "Software for Archers". You can download a trial copy and find out all, at pinwheelsoftware.com.

222.75 arrow shaft weight(27.5x8.1 gpi) + 15 for the 3 blazers + nock 10-12gr + insert wide guess here 12-23 + wrap wide guess 5-15 gr + 100gr or 125gr tip

A guess to go by.. I'm just trying to give you some kind of idea as to where you may be.. Hope this helps..
