I've used both and had great luck with both. DD is much cheaper than Ever Calm though.

 

I used Ever Calm all season last year and had deer around me longer that I normally have in the past.The deer that were there seemed to be less alert but I also tried to setup fairly close to bedding areas with it.

 

I have wasted money on ever calm and wouldn't take it again if someone offered it time for free. I didn't have any bad experiences with it but it didn't do anything to increase my sightings. IMO better off without that junk... Not only that it smells nothing like an actual deer.

 

I've used DD in the past on my boots when walking into my stand. I had a fork horn follow my trail with his nose to the ground sniffing right to my tree. Never spooked at all.

 

I save my money. No scent anything for me.

 

Never used deer dander but I've used ever calm and seen that it does what it suppose to deer . It works as a great cover scent and seems to take the edge off nervous deer and I've shot bucks coming into scent check area that I've used it . If used right it's s great tool..

 

Same here. Last season was my first using Ever Calm. Will continue to use.

 

Deer dander because it works ! I've been useing it for years , I've had deer follow my trail straight to the tree and it's a great cover scent

I use evercalm in the stick.

I have tried deer dander but the bottle sucks. I remember it leaked all over...gross. I could not take the stink.... I stunk like piss and dirty deer arse... I am gonna puke just thinking about it...

 

Never have used DD but used Ever Calm last year for the first time. Naturally must of us set up down wind of our expected target zone but on two separate occasions last year I had a doe and a racked buck move in behind me down wind. I ended up shooting the doe. Based on her body language I think she smelt me and the Ever Calm but didn't bust off enabling me to get the shot off. On another hunt the buck worked his way past me and then got down wind. He too, acted as if he could smell both me and the Ever Calm. He stood there, took a few steps looked back my way, and repeated until he was out of sight. Could have killed him if he was what I was looking for.

i used deer dander in the past but I cant associate any positive or negative reactions to it other than the bottle does suck. I hunt 99% public land if that matters at all.

 

I find it funny how people have to chime in and say "scents are junk", when the question wasnt that. I have used both and swear by them. I feel very confident that either will help cover my scent going to the stand. I know this because I have witnessed it. use both with confidence

 

I have used the dominant buck version of evercalm on our decoy with some success I guess? Deer didn't bust after getting downwind of the decoy. I purchased a couple evercalm sticks this past spring in the cabelas bargain cave super cheap, and I look forward to giving it a shot this year.

 

I've used ever calm. No idea if it helps, but at the very least doesn't spook deer. I've had deer stand literally inches away from branches I've put it on and they didn't react at all.

 

Ever Calm is the only scent that I have ever used that I have had positive results with. I have witnessed deer come up and lick the trees that I have applied it too.

I have used deer dander with no I'll effects while hunting. It certainly didn't hurt anything. I will say it is awesome for starting mock scrapes early. I've had them hitting mock scrapes hard in July by using it. Great for camera use!

 

I have had same experiences with DD as others
I had a doe 40 yards down wind and she kept putting her nose in the air sniffing never got busted by her . If you do buy some only spray it on your boots or stand it smells..

 

I've used Evercalm with great results. I put it on my boots, and will frequently have deer follow my trail in.

 

I wouldn't spend my money on either.

 

Never used ever calm, but have been using Deer Dander for years, great product.

 

DD same as others deer walked right to my tree I was in never spooked on a couple of occasions.
