If you've done the extended fiber mod to your sight, let's see some pictures of your handiwork!!! I'm getting ready to do this for the first time and I'd love to see how everyone else has done it. :thumbs_up

Thanks!

I redid the fiber on my Trophy Ridge Mantis sight with FitzFiber. I couldn't run it like you would on most other sights due to the pendulum feature, and when I tried to re-wrap using the factory parts, I wasn't thrilled with the brightness....so I came up with this mod which has been working very well for me and it is plenty bright now.

Dont you find that the fiber it too bright during low light blurring the target or putting a halo around the fiber causing a not so precise point of aim?

I've heard two things that you can do if this happens...

One, shorten the fibers

Two, reduce the size of the melted ball at the end of the fiber.

But, basically I think this mostly only happens when you use too much fiber.
