I just noticed that my ez fletch tool puts the vanes 3/8th inch forward compared to my AAE fletching tool and the pre fletched arrows.
Wondering if this makes any difference in flight? What is the reason?

I have shot my EZ fletched arrows with other arrows that were pre fletched from the manufacture from 10 yards to 70 yards and saw no real difference as long as the bow is well tuned they group the same

yup this is a relatively common question distance from the nock is of relatively little or no concern.

it can affect the FOC and the closer the fletch is to the end of the arrow the more efficient it is at stabilization, but a 1/2" either way is insignificant.
