I really have to give are clubs credit this year here in Oklahoma. Courses really were set up right for the most part and targets were not placed in unrealiztic distances.

I shot the little mini rhinehart bear at 38yrds once this year. Kill zone about the size of a half dollar.

Here was the shot. That mini bear tough at any distance.

We had a racoon shoot recently and had a paper squirrel target at 35 yards pitch black and could only use AA flashlight. You could have 1 guy guy stand behind you so you could see through your peep and the other guy pointing at the target

def a 43 yard hard uphill shot at a bedded buck in high grass.

2nd would be an oipen field shot on a 57 yard novelty grizzly.

at a money 3d shoot we had this summer, the top guys from each flight shot in a shoot down round. The shootdown round was set up like an indoor so everyone could watch. Mostly small targets, mini rhinehart bears, skunk, bobcat etc. distances were anywhere from 38 yards to 50 yards. Long shots on targets that small. It was fun.

Also another club near here had a fun shoot a couple weeks ago, and there was a 70 yard antelope. I shot it for 65 and hit it in the leg. Also after this shoot they had a long shot. Everyone put in 2 bucks for 1 shot at a rabbit target. I guessed the yardage right, but was just left. only 1 guy hit it. target was 74 yards!

As for the toughest shot, would have probably been a bobcat target. Bobcat was on a log, log was in dried grass same color as bobcat and log. Very hard to even see, let alone pick a spot. To top it off, it was about a 35-36 yard shot. Still can't beleive how that thing blended in.

My toughest was also the infamous rhinhart "gummy bear". It was around the same distance.....I actually managed to pick the right number and put an excellent shot on it however the guy in my group had pinwheeled it (first arrow in the 10 ring on the brand new target) and I managed to smach his nock and knock myself out into the 8.
