I picked up some Easton Fatboys(400's) yesterday and was wanting to use screw in tips. I had read here that I could use 2213 inserts but when I pressed them in they are slightly smaller in diameter than the shaft. Will this hurt anything? I'm concerned that it will start damaging the edge of the shaft when shooting into bag type targets. Any thoughts?

FWIW, the number on the insert was 2213-15.

Easton makes inserts for the Fatboys that will allow you to screw in weights.

I knew that, I was just checking to see if you guys knew that. Yeah, thats it. Seriuosly, I didn't know they made the screw-in type inserts for the Fatboys. My archery shop didn't know that either. I'll inform them, and get some on order. Thanks for the info guys.

No problem! Just remember the fatboy inserts are 38 grains!
