Just wondering what kind of stories you guys had ....

Mine was the first time I killed a deer with my father sitting beside me .... It was with a gun though .... He just had such a Proud look on his face when he realized after all of the years of trying to teach me everything he knew about hunting and being an ethical outdoorsman I had finally learned and put it all to good use .... Last year he was finally sitting with me with the bow when I killed one ... Had that same look and we both actually cried ....

Thanks Guys for letting me relive this one if only in my mind ,

Mike

It was definitely last season...I have been fortunate enough to harvest some pretty decent whitetails, but this one took the cake. I took my (then 6 year old) step son out bow hunting with me and after a half hour in the stand a lone doe came walking on out and came to about 25 yards and put a perfect shot on her. The look and excitement on his face was more meaningful to me than anything else I have ever done in the woods.

Thanks all....
