Deer&Deer Hunting, they are more about the latest research on whitetail behavior and tactics to hunt them and less about the stories of rich guys killing giant bucks on game farms. Although there are still some of those too.

Bowhunter is the best, although they have gotten a lot more commercial in the past few years. D&DH is good when they focus on research or bowhunting, as I am not into firearms hunting for the most part. Peterson's is a disappointment, as I received a gift subscription for Christmas and it is a glorified manufacturer ad profile, in addition to crossbow PR operation. I would not buy an issue off the shelf (let alone a subscription) in the future............:thumbs_do

i like bowhunter but less and less each issue.

I just font relate to guided hunts and high dollar African safaries. Plus Hoyt and Mathews I think pretty much own everyone on there!
