I am looking for a new bow for my oldest son. We looked at the Diamond Rapture and he seemed to like it a lot. I know they are the mid-range bows made by Bowtech. I am looking for any feedback either good or bad on this bow line.

He has a drawlength at around 25" and is 15 at the moment. I told him that this would be the last bow that I buy for him and after this one he's on his own. So, ideally, I'm looking for something with an adjustable draw range that goes down to at least 25" in a 40 to 50 pound bow. He's only interested in hunting at this time, so that will be it's primary use.

Any other bow makes/model recommendations would be welcomed as well.

Can't go wrong w/ Diamond. My younger brother shoots a Rapture and my dad shoots a Liberty. Great bows. I myself shoot a BT Allegiance. We're a BT family.

Rapture

My oldest son has one as well 50lbs 26" draw. The bow has quite a bit of draw adjustment, and I know with just a switch of the limbs it can go up to 70lbs.

This bow shoots very nice, quiet, and I think it is a great bow for the price. I wouldn't even hesitate to shoot one if I was looking for a new hunting bow.

I set one up for a friend recently. As with all Bowtech products, the quality and fit and finish were excellent.

The bow is well put together and I would not hesitate to make a Diamond my personal bow.

One thing of note, the module changes do necesitate a change in the draw stop, which will be in the owner's manual.
