You can expect some "holier than now super hunter responses".
Some feed year round, some a week before season. It really depends on what you are attempting to accomplish and method. If using a electric spin cast feeder or tube feeder to earlier the better so the deer get used to it. If you are interested taking inventory then start around now to track antler growth. Corn really isn't all that good for the deer this time of year so if you are looking to take inventory I would suggest mineral licks instead of corn. On the other hand, down in your neck of the woods rice bran is readily available and would be much better for the deer and a great alternative to corn. Understand in most situations a mature buck will avoid any type of man made feeder and a casting straight on to the ground will work best and you could wait up until a month before season starts.
