I don't think one is better than the other as long as they are the same weight as your b-heads and the field point is the same diameter as your arrow.

Ya I wouldn't be too concerned about the type of field point. I would be more concerned about getting the proper weight and diameter.

I believe target points are glued in where field points have a threaded

Well these ones show threads so I guess that they are about the same then? I can use them to practice with and should get the same outcome as fieldpoints? The thing is that I ordered so Crimson Talon Turbine Tip Target Points thinking that they were field points. I dunno I guess we will have to see when they come

I'm not sure if I'm answering your question, but...

I find that the rounded "bullet" style points are easier on targets, and reduce penetration a bit compared to the standard pointy "field" points.
