If you make strings you know the finished string will be roughly 1/8th long as soon as it comes off the jig,If it rest for a bit the length is perfect.What do you do when you have someone wanting the string immediatly off the jig.Do you make the string an 1/8 short or will the 18th come back while on the bow.

i have a motto when i make strings for a lot i mean a lot of archers
if your in a hurry go some place else
its my reputation on the line here

string length

Thanks for the replys i guess it would be best to make the customer wait.I make a good string from 452x and after it is finished it doesnt stretch but i thought it might get the proper length after it set on the bow for a while.I usually like to keep the bows overnight to make sure everything turns out perfect.
