Just wanted to share pics of my buck I shot last year and just got back from the taxi. He had to much character not to mount.

Wow great deer! What state, and I'd be curious to see what he scored?!?

Very neat. Is that remnants of velvet I see on the brows or tree shavings?

Thanks. He was killed in NC opening day of bow season last year. As far as score havent scored him. Wouldn't be much do to not having many points but he was just to cool not to mount. By far my best with a bow

Yeah that's velvet. He was in full velvet all the way up to a few days before I shot him. Funny thing is I forgot to tell my taxidermist to leave it. But when I picked it up I was relieved to see that he left It. Really adds character to the mount

Wow NC! Even better. He's got much better than average mass for a southern deer. Do you have field photos?

Too bad he doesn't have any character. Ha! Just kidding, I love deer like this that are so unique.

Your taxidermist sure is slow.
