Headed up to Oregon today to go chase around some mulies and elk.

Finally,

waited 345 days for another shot at an elk.

13 hour drive and I'm in Elk Country.

Too bad I have to work today. Leaving this afternoon.

Good luck to everyone who's headed out hunting and Drive Safe, it's a busy weekend.

Good luck. We came home early due to the dry, hot and poor moon phase conditions. Hunted five days and saw a total of 12 deer...poor. I am going to hold off until later in the season, hopefully some weather will move in.

water is the key.

buddy missed a nice 3x3 and passed 8 bucks Monday morning. So I'm staying hopeful. going to be there until the 17th of Sept. so hopefully we get a few cool overcast days in there.

other buddies also had the same luck, plus they said people were driving the roads everywhere.

season's just starting, we have plenty of time

Like today. It was in the low 30's in town last night and expected to get in the mid 70's with cloud cover today....It is KILLING ME. Was over 90 this weekend and the elk were nocturnal. Let me know how it goes.
