I do not know how expensive arrows you are using but when I find 4 more arrows it has paid back itself. You get much more confident in using your broadhead-equipped hunting arrows. Carbon it will not detect, only metal parts.
It has an open thread where you can install an arrow shaft with the broadhed unscrewed. That is smart, unless you used your last arrow.
You must still immediately go to the spot where the arrow hit.
the depth of penetration of the signal seems to be lower than 5".
Be aware of what you find, ammunition and cables need care. I will seal it with an -ring seal. Recover promised to improve it for the next series.
During wet conditions I was recommended to use a simple plastic bag.
