Is anyone running these? Reviews are good but they cost nearly as much as the whole arrow. Any other cheaper alternatives? I have use luminocks but I am not impressed

yeah I am ..I have around 50 of them in 3 sizes .... .246 .204 .166 ..they work 100% of the time
just have to install the shock end caps inside your arrows at the perfect depth ...take your time
installing ....then just install new batteries every year .. if a nock ever breaks , you can just
replace the Nock ..the circuits come in target that go off automatically in 15 seconds or hunting
circuit that stay on until you turn it off ....I have a few 10 years old..they work same as new ones

Are the hunting circuits easy to turn off? Do they have a switch or something?

They are nice and work 99% of the time I just don't like to install stuff in the shaft. What if you want to move them to different arrows, the more weight, I personally rather buy 100 china nocks and have 90% of them work then buy the firenocks. And still the 100 china nocks would be cheaper and go from arrow to arrow and weigh less.

They’re not hard to move to another arrow. It’s the shock caps that are a bit of a pain - I just buy extras so that my designated hunting arrows have shock caps. The light unit itself and nock are simple to move to another arrow. If 90% reliability works for you more power to you, I want to minimize any failures of equipment on my end.

Gluing in the endcap is probably one of my biggest complaints. Not that it is a big deal but like others said it sucks it requires a semi permanent modification to install.

I believe it says 5mm nocks are 23 grains.
