I haven't posted anything in a long time so I figured I would share a little personal insight. This winter, in SouthWestern PA, has brought some of the coldest temperatures I can remember. In turn the snow accumulations came and stayed. With the amount of snow we had for an extended period of time, I found that the deer were forced to limit travel from bedding to food. With that in mind my father and I set out for the first shed hunt of the year this past weekend. We walked for approximately 3 hours and concentrated in and around our food plots. The results are pictured below. Although many of the larger bucks have yet to be found we were both happy with what we did find. Has anyone else had any success shed hunting in PA?
