I am going to my first 3D shoot tomorrow in Sioux Falls, SD. It is being put on by Minnehaha Archery Club.

I have my bow sighted in and hope to do well, I am not sure what class I am in but it should be fun.

You are gonna love it. Try not to get to tied up in the scoring at this point, just take your time and learn the ins and outs and the scores will come. Main thing is to have fun.

No snow but 39 degrees when I went to shoot this morning.

I wore a couple layers but no coat, it was chilly.

I shot a 410 out of 600 with 6 x's.

I lost one arrow to a bore, he was perched through a Y of a tree a little over 40 yards out, I shot a little high and broke my arrow in the tree!

I had a blast!

I shoot a release so I was put in the Freestyle class. I was in first out of 8 in my class when I left. I know that won't last but I was sure happy about that!
