Well last year i got two does and after alot if time in the woods i got my first archery buck, and he's the biggest buck i have shot to date with anything!

funny story sunday afternoon i clear a spot 4x4 to put my ground blind cause i saw this deer at a distance in front of my baby food plot(20yds x 35 yds) i never have hunted it before cause ive never gotten any good pics off my camera's. So sunday afternoon i get in the blind about 3:00, i start to get situated and didnt like where my seat was so i moved it and as i allways do when putting down my seat in drew my bow to make sure i had shooting room. Big mistake cause i really didnt have room so as i let my bow down i must of tourqed the **** outa it cause i derailed my string [email protected]#[email protected]% omg its only 3:30 and im screwd. i am unable to get outa my blind cause my dad is hunting about 75 yards away from me. so as i sit there sobbing on my stupid mistake i watch about a 15 inch spread 5point walk about 20 yards in front of me !! he was young so i wouldnt of shot him but the fact that i didnt have a choice cause i didnt have a bow pisssed me off and with about 10 mins of shooting light i watch yet another deer walk about 28 yards away a doe this time and i would of shot her.(neither walk withing a 100yards of my dad)

having planed to go back in the morning i drove to gander mountain cause my bow shop was closed. and i watched and prayed that the gander mountain tech knew what he was doing. He knew about 80% what he was doing the rest was luck but he got it fixed.

Got up monday morning about 6:15(running late) hall ass to my blind, spook a deer right in front of my blind @$!% what i get for not getting up early enough. So im sitting there in my blind thinking i wont see anything cause ive blown my chance. and about 7:15 I see brown running thew the field across the plot fence blocking my few, and he moving my way fast he stop just before the fence and eats for just a sec then jumps the fence and walks straight at me. I grabbed my bow ready to draw. my heart is beating so hard im worried the deer will hear it. the stops at 35 yards and turns broadside just were i cant see him cause of the 3 window in the blind. He starts to talk away knowing i have no time i grunt at him, thinking back know it feel like my bow was 50lbs cause i was shaking so bad i was having a hard time staying steady. as he looked i my direction i trired to stay stead and focus on not punching the trigger, and i didnt i made a decent shot but he dropped to run and i hit him in the spine!! he dropped dead in his tracks!!
