Ahhh, It's not what ya think...Really.

I took my 10yr old son and his buddy out riddin the 4-wheelers yesterday and found the opposite of what shed hunter find.

A DEER HEAD................it was a shoulder mount that someone had ripped the rack off of and either threw it away/ditched it in the woods.

So, I strapped it to my Rancher and brought it home.

I used an old rack that came from a friend of mines hunting camp, before they were kicked out. It was a 10 point until a squirell chewed off one of the tines.

Mount looks cool.Wonder why someone threw it out? Maybe Wifey caught hubby doing something??? Rip off antlers throw antlers in one spot,head in another.Just a guess as that's what my wife said she would do if I ever..... :angel:

Thats what I was thinking and they could have sold the antlers for some extra $$$.

But you did a good job with it nothing to do about it being stolen without antlers to show who it belongs too. Thats a pretty cool find there
