I picked up my new Aurora last night and the detent pin on the lower limb does not click into the "hole" in the riser. The limb is stopping just a hair too short for the pin to click in. The limbs are Auroras. My Archery dealer and I made sure that the limb bolt is turned in the right direction to allow the limb to seat as far into the riser as possible. Has anyone experienced this? can I file the inside of the limb just a tiny bit on the top of the arch? Does the detent pin have to click in?

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mark

Mark,

The limbs should click into the detent. If the limbs are not lining up properly have your dealer check the parts and call Martin.

Some dealers are not fimliar Olympic Recurves and it might be a simple issue. You can also call Martin directly they have great customer service.

Something else to consider, try PM'ing Mike Gerard, Jurassic Archer on this board. He along with Ed Eliason designed the Aurora.
