I was wondering if anyone has modified a wrapped pin site, and would have any tips. I ruined a whole kit, because I over heated the fibers. They became brittle and broke. I used clear fingernail polish to hold it to the clear tube, and man it looked really good. Then, when I put the fiber in the pins it broke three of the fibers. Lets just say I was a little:mad: then it went to :pukey:. Thanks.

yeah, I did mine with fitz fibers. I actually wrapped the fibers around an ink pen and taped them and left them over-night which caused them to have a fairly good memory and stay in a coil long enough to get them into the wrap on the side of the site. It did not require any heating and therefore they didn't become brittle at all.

i did wrap mine around the clear tube from the sight and then taped it down and used a hair dryer.

it took a long time to get them to stay coiled.

they are not as tight as factory but it works and much brighter
