Check out the Dude shooting the first arrow... he has the Ravin R10 cocked and the Bolt loaded... then he is pulling on the trigger but the safety is still on....so what does he do... Takes the Safety off and then he puts his hand and fingers inside the bow string and limbs moves the arrow around...then he shoots the bolt....looks like to me a very good way to lose some fingers... I am wonder how many FPS his fingers would register through a Chronograph?

Amazing how they sell the broadhead that won the test.
Hmmmmm !! Pretty poor shooting a R10 at forty yards 6 arrows at the same spot... I have a R10 been shooting it for almost three years.... would never shoot at the same spot with my arrows.. wouldn't be able to afford to replace the damaged arrows and BH's... with my 100 grain field points, Exodus and Slick Trick broadheads...

I should add that I am shooting my R10 off/on a Bog Gear Fieldpod...
Are they still called arrows when shot by a crossbow?

Cool. Get some over to John Lusk so he can do the heavy lifting for us. Black Flag Archery Website is sparse on information re: steel type, blade thickness & angle, overall dimensions, country of origin, etc. That would be very helpful. They’re inexpensive so guessing the materials, engineering, mfg. aren’t too crazy.

Technically yes. But in sales marketing, no.

But yes, arrows shot from crossbows are still arrows. Bolts shot from crossbows are bolts. Fingers shot from crossbows are uncooked idiot fries.

Don’t confuse valid criticism from someone as them being a hater(s). But since you did, let me dig into it a bit more.

1. As mentioned, no mention of where the product is made. This means it’s most likely China, because other reputable companies proudly list Made in America. Why would I pay $40 for Chinese heads when I can pay the same for TOTA, Kudupoint, or other USA heads?

2. Your accuracy test measures are flawed. The shooter didn’t have true stability. Why wouldn’t you use a shooting vise or tripod at least? The viewer couldn’t see where each arrow hit, so we have to take your word for it.

3. Nearly all heads fly accurately out of a tuned bow. The video just shown that this head flew accurately out of a crossbow with a certain vane setup. Will it fly accurately out of a compound with 4 fletch? 3 low profile fletch? Feathers?

4. Made of 100% steel? Well what type of steel? What Rockwell Hardnesd? What’s the likelihood of rusting? Where is this critical information located?

5. Oh, a large curved thin blade! That’ll be fun to resharpen.

I call a Hater someone who criticize something they have never seen and by their own admission don't know any of the details of the product. That is You
The story behind the head is that I wanted a fixed head to fly like a field point. None of this " it has to be a prefect tuned bow and perfect form". I don't have perfect form, and most people in hunting situations don't have perfect form. For 20 years I shot mechanicals because I couldn't get fixed heads to fly. Three years ago we started trying to solve this problem. WE had to get some aerospace designers and testing involved. Many, Many failed attempts later and the Hemorrhage was born. It is the answer. Anyone can shoot it. As a bonus it is built like a Tank. We have killed up to 5 dee with the same head.

We don’t know anything because you don’t provide anything. Not willfully providing facts up front is disingenuous at best. And calling people who criticize as “haters”, that’s what teenagers do.

So it’s easy to pull from your story that you were unhappy with fixed blade flight, and unhappy with the performance of mechanicals.

So instead of working on your form and perfect arrow flight, you design a broadhead to try and fix these issues? Got some bad news for you about magic pills; they don’t work.

You still need to tune your bow. You still need to tune your arrows.

Additional thought: how hard is it to have perfect form when shooting a crossbow?

Looking at the picture, this looks like it would be considered to be a barbed head? I guess not legal in this configuration in all states? Correct?
