Bohning Platinum. Made for fletching. Arrow prep is paramount with any glue. I "button" the ends of the vanes. Bohning states 5 minutes before unclamping, but I got 7 minutes. Last vane done I can shoot right out of the jig and no issues. I just don't shoot something the arrow can pass through or let my hand slip over the vanes when pulling.
After use I place opened glues in the refrigerator. Lasts a long time.
Some of these super glue types you almost need a hammer and chisel to remove the vane and old glue or soak the arrow in acetone to soften the glues.........
Some vanes require certain glue or base bubbling can occur......
Bohning held well here. Twice through a truck bed liner.
For kicks I used Platinum to glue old vanes and successfully fletched a couple of arrows. 1st pic you can see old glue I couldn't remove. Still, no problem fletching.
