Fletching jig for left helical

I am looking for suggestions on fletching jigs. I am wanting to fletch a left helical on a 5mm arrow and will be using 3 fletch bohning x vanes, with a wrap. What my question is, with this set up and if I wanted roughly a 3 degree left helical what would be the best jig for that combination. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lancaster for the VMP - $350.00. I just can't accept that it's supposed to be the greatest. My 40+ year old Martin stand alone gets the job done - placed and won in competition (state and club) and killed deer and other game. Over 20 years ago I gave $10.00 for it and then another $5 for a helical clamp.

If you want the most precise and adjustable jig out there the VMP is the one to get. It's also the second most expensive jig currently out there. I have 4 Bitz that just collect dust now that are roughly 40 plus years old. They are tried and true however I feel they could be "updated" some to align better with today's modern archery.
If I were in the market for a jig today and the VMP wasnt an option, I would give the new OMP jig a look. I like the adjustability that it offers such as right or left fletching, degree of offset and degree of helical.

Almost afraid to ask but... What's the first most expensive fletching jig?

??? Most all fletching errors are caused by operator. The VMP is not fool proof.
Most all fletching jigs with straight clamps can give different degrees of offset and be very precise.

Truth be known, a straight clamp can give more offset with short vanes than a helical clamp can.

Curious, have you used other jigs like the EZ Fletch to compare to? The Cauldron looks like a similar idea to the EZ Fletch but it appears to have some features that may make it a bit more user friendly.

I'm a big fan of the Bohning Helix Tower jig. Simple to swap out the arms for various fletch types and offset / helical (up to 3 degrees right and left) and you can swap the center post for various arrow diameters. I use mine for 5mm, 23/64 target arrows, even a crossbow bolt every now and then.

I've owned a Vane Master Pro, Bitzenburger, AZ EZ Fletch, Bohning MultiFletch, maybe others, can't remember.

I use the Bitzenburger the most at this point because I don't want more than 2-3 degrees of helical (eliminating the AZ EZ Fletch) and it allows me to do 3 or 4 fletch and left or right helical with a second clamp. And if you think there's too much slop, just purchase a new nock receiver (I like AAEs). Even with an additional clamp and receiver, you are spending FAR less than the VMP (which can only do 3 fletch unless you buy an additional part that isn't included).

I tend to use the bohning tower jig with the right helical. I have a bitz but I’m just so sloppy with it. I’ve fletched a bunch of arrows with it but i just can’t get it as repeatable as the tower jig. I also feel like the bohning tower jig has the perfect amount of helical.

I don't know that there's an easier to use or more cost effective fletching jig on the market, especially when you're looking for helical, than the AZ EZ Fletch. I used a Jo-Jan for MANY years and i've tinkered with a few other ones because when I saw the AZ EZ Fletch, I just knew that with it's simple design and relative inexpensive cost, there was no way i was going to get the results I was looking for. Well, I was wrong. I'm just fletching arrows for hunting so I don't have the need for extreme precision like you can dial up with the Bitz and a few other jigs on the market. I run four Minim Max left helical and couldn't be happier.

The OP really didnt specify anything other than something that would do a 3 degree helical. He never mentioned cost. But AT usually has to have those who will automatically chime in and tell you what everything is worth to them. And how they bought a jig in 1952 for the $2.99 and are still using it. He never asked about money Until his last post.
There are a lot of jigs that will do that. I’ve used Bitz, EZ FLETCH AND VMP. The Bitz will do anything with just about any fletching. It is hard to get much more than 3 degrees though on certain arrow diameters. Although I believe I have. I have no way of measuring it. A EZ fletch mini max has to be over 5 degrees helical easily.
The VMP can go to 5 degrees. And I’ve seen videos on how to increase it even more.
To the OP if you don’t want any more than 3 degrees the EZ FLETCH is out. If you want to be able to repeat the same amount every time the VMP is for you. You can mark a Bitz receiver so you can return to the same settings. I have decals on mine to return to certain angles. But I really don’t know how many degrees they are.

I definitely think the vane master pro is by far the best out there, but for the amount of fleatching that I do, basically for hunting season. The price of the vmp just not too feasible. A few members have mentioned the omp jig. Now that looks like a solid jig, with a price not near as bad
It is the best I’ve used by far.
The omp looks solid
it does but it never seems to be available. And when they are they sell out in a day.
