I like a fast curing glue so i use Gorrilla super glue gel, easier to apply than the liquid. I apply 3 dabs 1 on each end of the fletch and one in the middle i then spread the glue with a tooth pick to get even distribution this helps me get a cleaner fletch without excess glue spewing out from under the fletch.

I use alcohol also to clean my shafts and i use steel wool as a scrubber, then i wipe with a paper towel.

if your gluing in inserts make sure to clean the inside of the shaft with a q tip dipped in alcohol prior to gluing them in when the arrow is cut, carbon dust gets blown into the arrow, the dust will cause a bad bond with the insert glue.

No need to glue inserts IMO....at all. Just causes problems when you break one.

I've used several different glues from expensive to regular ol super glue...they all work equally.

I clean the shaft with acetone on a rag, apply the wrap, then fletch directly to the wrap without cleaning the wrap or the fletch....besides shooting them off, I've never had a fletch come loose.

how do you adhear your inserts then? You need to glue them somehow.

OP i should have been more specific with the insert comment. Inserts are adheared 3 ways, low temp glue, bohning insert iron fast setting glue and any 2 part epoxy. I use cool flex low temp glue sticks blue in color made by bohning.

Epoxy and the insert iron you cannot swap an insert if it gets damaged, you also cannot rotate your broadheads the way you want them to be with these, once they are set, they are set.

I use gorilla super glue for fletching and insert installation. I would highly recommend arrow wraps as well. They will help with stripping the arrow when the time comes.

Arizona Ez-fletch. So easy...a caveman can do it.

Gel glue, steel wool, and denatured alcohol(for cleaning arrow shaft)

I like to use an arrow squaring device on both ends of the shaft and the insert after it is glued in. Mark both ends of the shaft with silver Sharpie. Put black Sharpie on the insert. When the color is gone, the end is square.

I've seen on some other post where a lot of people are using this gorilla glue for fletching....I'll look into that as well.
Thanks
