im getting ready to fletch a dozen arrows for hunting. i had them crested with white paint. now my question is what is a good way to clean the crested shaft without removing the paint so that i get a good adhesion with vanes?
I've dipped, crested, and fletched many shafts. Just make sure the white dip is completely dry and you shouldn't have any problems with fletching coming off. You won't need to clean it with anything. At least I never have had problems with it in the past.
