Does anyone shoot five spot or vegas targets with no fletching. Was shooting some five spot today, season is over but still fun, and i thought heck take the veins off of one arrow and see how it hits with the others. Hit 2" higher but right done the pipe. Shot it three more times, near the same hole. Sooo...i stripped two more and had the same results. Resighted and pounded x's. Is there a rule that you have to use fletching for 20yd. stuff or can i go naked?ukey:

I know people that tune their bows to where their arrows hit in the same hole with or without fletching. But...human error can still happen and the fletching helps that out. Is it legal to shoot without them? Im not real sure...but y not use everything you can to help and stick to the fletchings on.
