I have a katera with 80# limbs, and a 29.5 draw. What size arrow should I get? the 340 or 300? and what is the differance between the FMJ and the FMJ dangerous game.

I shoot 70#'s and shoot the 340 FMJ at a 29" DL.

If your shooting 80#'s you will probably want the 300's.

What does the Easton chart say? Its on their website.

I would def go with .300 spine. My Katera was 28.5" draw, and 71 pounds, and 340 spine was just right, and 400 definitely too weak. You;ve got 10 pounds extra and another inch of draw length on me.

The Dangerous Game arrows are heavier per inch and I believe they include the brass HIT inserts which are MUCH heavier than the standard HIT inserts.

According to Easton's chart, with either a 100 or 125 gr tip with 29-31" arrows, you can use the 300s or the dangerous game 300s or 250s

300's

I shoot an 80 lb. Envy at 29" with 100 grain tips and the 300's are perfect. the dangerous game fmj's are heavier. 17 grains per inch.

take your arrow length up a bit to put you in the middle of the 300 spine specs. You'll have a little longer arrow but you won't be borderline on your spine
