Is 7% too low?

That's certainly lower than I'd like, but.... OK, I've increased my DL by 1" from where I started. That leaves my arrows short, but I'd like to keep shooting them for a while until I get set up to start building and decide what exactly I want to shoot.

I'm shooting 29" EPIC 340s, currently with 100 gr points. That puts FOC at 9.7%. At 62 lbs, the spine is about right. But by increasing the DL to 30, the same arrows are weak. I am thinking of dropping the bow to 60 lbs and using 75 gr tips to keep the spine right, but this will drop FOC to 7%.

Is this asking for trouble (frustration) for th next few months until I can get set up.

I'm not hunting this year  so this will be for field points only.

No, I have shot arrows that low before. What bow are you using? Year, make and model. What fletching, nock and wrap iif any. I will run them through OnTarget. If you can reduce your let-off that would help a lot.

Shooting a 2003 Phantom II with Fuzion cam.

The fletching is what came on the arrows, so I am not sure the brand - but its 4 inch vanes.

No wrap. Nock and inserts are what came with the arrow as well.
