You need to measure the outside diameter with a caliper or micrometer, be careful and accurate. Then use this chart prepared by "dan in mi" to determine what aluminum shaft you need.
What you want is an aluminum shaft that has an inside diameter that is 0.0073" larger than the outside diameter of your carbon shafts. For example, if the OD of your carbon shaft is 0.2732" you would want a 2016 that has in inside diameter of 0.2805". I'd use a good two part 24 hour epoxy for glue.
