Whats the difference between the two "throat" sizes. Is it just the string diameter? One seems deeper than the other.

it's just a .088 and .098 string groove difference.

They might have one for those 1000 A/C/E and smaller shafts but don't know for sure.

The string center serving diameter controls the width of the nock. The center serving diameter is controlled by the number of strands and the thickness of the serving material. The lighter the string the faster the arrow.

So, on light weight bows say under 40 lbs. you might use a narrow throat nock (.088). Most compounders are going to use the larger throat (.098).

1. It's EASTON , not Eastman

2. 0.088" , small groove , for olympic recurve bows !

3. 0.098" , large groove , for all compound shooters !
