You'll probably get the response, "they will if your bow is tuned right!"
For me, montecs were probably 8" from where my field tips hit at 20 yards. That's one of the reasons I love slick tricks. They hit were my field tips do. And my bow is in tune. :D

montecs flying like darts

I just finished experimenting with combinations of arrows, broadheads, fletching.

The winners are gold tip pro hunters 75/95, montec 125, 7 inch wrap with 2 inch blazers, lumenok.

I can hit a 5 inch circle at 50 yards very consistently.

I shot acc 349/390's,and2315 xx78s.

tried magnus snuffers 125.

anything flew great on the xx78 set up with blazers, but it was an extremely heavy arrow.

The Magnus 125 flew pretty good on the gold tips but not quite as well as the montecs.

I really wanted the Magnus 125 to work, cheaper, and probably could use them, but the Montecs were like lazers.

I shoot a Mathews outback 70#, 29 1/2 draw.

I broadhead tuned my bow also.

That’s right! It’s all about tuning. Some BH's are more critical of tuning or (don't fly as well) as others but if you get your bow "perfectly" tuned you can stack up any good BH's of the same weight. Its hard work though, be prepared to move your nock, rest, adjust your weight, change arrows (spine) or point weight. It’s not magic just a lot of tedious work. I can always get em' flying together sometimes it takes 30 min and sometimes it takes days of work.

Montecs

I had to tune my broadheads to get them to fly like my field points. But at first they did not fly the same as the field points.

Close last year, which was the first year I really worked hard at tuning my bow thanks to the guys here at AT for all their help.

I ended up making one small sight adjustment to the right, but it was real close. My hunting Montecs flew exactly like my practice Montecs (I had to check just to make sure!)

I just bought some montecs. I test them using 2 field tips and a broadhead tipped arrow in each group. Just shot 3 groups at 23 yards (max for my backyard). I had two 1" groups and one around 2" (which was probably my fault). So my experience is that there is no difference (for me and my SB anyway) in fieldtips and Montecs out to 23 yards. Even so, I'm still thinking I go with Snuffer SSs this fall. If the Snuffer SSs shoot the same way, I may have a quiver full of both and maybe a slick trick or two.

Just shot mine at 50 yds. earlier and they hit too close to my fieldpoints. Minus one Axis arrow (R.I.P.) So I say yes they hit where my fieldpoints do. I am going to use them elk hunting in a few weeks, but I plan on using Slick Tricks on deer because of the larger four blade hole.
