Did a search on these heads but didn't see a ton of info. Some but wanting more.

Has anyone shot anything with these yet? Looking for opinions on how they perform. Are they accurate? Is the BMP spot on to the broadhead?

I am currently shooting G5 Deadmeat. Would the Striker V2 be worth switching?

I tested them pretty well over the summer and they were outstanding on accuracy and very well constructed. I did shoot a big Iowa doe with one the morning of 11/23. Close range shot so it didn't test the accuracy but blew through her and she only went about 20-25 yards and flopped over. Lots of blood. The head did the job well and I would recommend it to anyone. There are a number of top notch broadheads out there but I would put this one up there among the best.

Bareshaft tune your bow and there is no need for the BMP. These heads are machined to perfection, they spin true as can be, if your bow is tuned to perfection the Striker V2 will hit right with your fieldpoints. No need to waste money on the BMP imo.

Look at the Blackout Toxik. AFAIK it’s the same head as the Striker and cheaper. It is by far the sharpest head I’ve ever used, ‘sticky’ sharp. Replaceable blades are super nice for practicing and tuning. Killed a buck with one this year and he was dead in 30 yards, head was still sharp too.

I switched to the striker X. With regards to your last question, I justified it like this: if i can obtain the same accuracy with a striker X as I can with the dead meat, I'm happy to give up 1/4 inch of cutting diameter to gain an extra blade, better blade sharpness, and better penetration.

With your scenario, you don't gain the extra blade, but its still worth switching. I shot the dead meat for years, and will continue to have them in my quiver. But the new strikers really don't give up much vs a 1.5" expandable.
