So I've narrowed it down to these two. Let's hear the pros and cons, and why you would choose one over another

shot them both...both flew right where I wanted them too...went with the striker cuz i can't sharpen to save my life
I went with the Strikers because of the finer edge. Like belden148, I also find it difficult to get the edge I want on a one piece 3 blade head.
Strikers have replaceable blades and the ferrules are tough as nails. The blades they provide are like razors too. I haven't found a head that flies as well as those Striker 125s yet. I have always hated being a bandwagon guy, but I couldn't resist after shooting them!
I shoot both. They fly the same. I can't say I like one better then the other. I also can't sharpen the montic broadhead very good, but that won't stop me from buying the montic, if I need to buy a broad I would get what they have in stock.
I shot both and went with the Strikers. I liked them better cause the blades are replacable and I also found the Montecs to be noisey where the Strikers were very quiet.
Montecs-noisy in flight, but strong

Strikers- quiet, but replaceable blades don't hold up as well, had one break going through a deer when my wife was shooting 25"50#

Choose your poison.
I shoot both, Strikers are easier to sharpen, both fly well...do I hear an echo??
Thanks for the input. Sounds like strikers might be the way to go.
Ive shot montecs for 6 years, they fly incredibley well and are extremely tough, but they are a little noisey in flight, and hard to sharpen.Ive killed a few deer with one head a couple differant times. That being said.I just started shooting the strikers and I cannot tell you how impressed Iam. Not only with the flight but with the sharpness and durability.G5 makes amazing broadheads I dont think you can go wrong with either one of these heads, but as of late Iam leaning towards the striker.I blew through a pigs shoulder a few weeks ago.the broadhead looked and felt brand new. They are a incredible head.
I shot both last year and I really like the Strikers better. They both took deer, but the strikers, I was able to blow through a shoulder bone and a lower neck vertibra. Not saying the Montecs wouldn't have done the same, but I had a little more confidence with the Strikers, as I had robin hood accuracy with the Strikers, yup second shot I took with the Strikers at 35 yards was a robin hood into the first.
+1 for what belden said. i have shot them both but i'm horrible at sharpening anything. the striker is pretty amazing. scary sharp and great penetration! but what i've heard its hard to go wrong with montec too. good luck with which ever one you choose! :darkbeer:

if you use the diamond stone they get very sharp, enough for anything i shoot, they have a different angle than any other just so they are able to be sharpened on the stone, dont be deceived by the look they are sharp
