Which one do you prefer to shoot and why?

Sevr 1.5. Locking screw allows you to practice with the same head you hunt with. I got the stay sharp guide and can get those blades scary sharp. Titanium heads are stronger in my opinion. Love the locking swivel action of the sevr. And I like that you can buy 1 or 100. I’ve put the same broadhead through 2 does so far. Hoping to get a buck with it in A couple weeks.

The G5 are definitely known for their sharp blades (mechs and Strikers especially) but the blades are pretty thin. I like that even if it doesn't deploy you still get some cut, but losing/breaking blades seems to be the biggest weakness.

Sevr without a doubt. The G5 wins the sharpness category but that's where it ends. The Sevr is more durable across the board and flies exactly like your field points since you can lock the blades in and practice with your actual head. Watch the reviews that John Lusk does on the heads on YouTube and you'll see the Sevr 1.5 is just a beast.

Here's one of mine after passing through a 3D target at 30 yards and lodging in a brick wall. Most of the stuff you see on the head is concrete, not damage. The only damage was that the tip curled a little which can be fixed easily....

Between these two I’d go with the G5.
The cut of a 1.5” two blade compared to a 1.5” three blade is a big difference.
I don’t like the swiveling blades of the Sevr as the reports in game as well as testing showing the cut only being .75” in some cases.
IMO the three blade will leave a bigger entry and exit which will result in more blood on the ground.
I do think the Sevr is a stronger head, but the G5 will and does get the job done very well.

Sevr is a beast of an expandable, but personally I run megameats now. If it hits anything crazy its done no if and butts about it. If you're looking to drop something quickly though it's an awesome head. I hunt small parcels that neighbors aren't too keen on going on their property. Stevie Wonder could follow the blood trail. Sevr is much much higher quality though & 1.5s are a proven head.
