I heard that Tightspot copied Sagittarius.

Lets all get real, today's archery products are all drawing from the influences of the products before them. Tomorrows products will draw upon today's and the cream will rise to the top.

The OP was simply reviewing a product so that others could make a better decision on how to spend their hard earned money.
Ya guys I posted this up to give a little feedback on a good product at a great price point. This was not intended to be my quiver vs your quiver. Anybody considering a new quiver or wondering if the Head-loc is a good choice before they spend their money i hope they find this somewhat informative.

I have one of these already. If anyone likes to shoot with the quiver on, it doesn't seem to add much if any noise verses the bow by itself. The rubber post acts as an isolator between the quiver and bow, kinda turns the quiver into a noise dampener I think. Either way it's pretty good for the money.

Quality costs money, the Tightspot is way better made, seems more solid and is infinitely adjustable. I have no qualms about paying for something I know wont let me down. Some thigs are cheaper for a reason, works that way in every aspect of life.
whoaaaa there tightspot prostaffer you know the differences in construction of these two quivers how? we are talking about quivers here, we know you paid 130, but you dont have to try to justify it. I cant recall the last time a 30 dollar quiver let me down.

I really like the looks of them, I'm debating between it and the Mag-Loc

These G5 quivers are excellent, they could easily sell for alot more!

Any idea if this quiver will hold small diameter easton axis arrows or not?
Yes it will I just received mine in the mail yesterday and I have gold tip 3555 and they fit really tight so the axis will fit perfect as well. It is well built, quiets the bow down if you like shooting with the quiver on. Ive had alot of quivers over the past couple of years including the tight spot and for the money this is the best bang for you buck G5 hit a home run in my book with this quiver.. and comes with free replacement tree mounts how can you beat that

Unless it sits at the centerline of thje bow, it is NOT "balancing" the bow.

Yep. I love my Mini DISH to offset the weight of the quiver and arrows.

Thanks for the great pics and review of this product. Based on this and other research I've done it's looking more and more likely I'll get this quiver to replace my beloved Qwikee Qwiver Combo quiver. I really like the 6 arrow capacity, dual arrow holders, no foam in the hood, light weight (9.0 oz from what I've seen), adjustability, quick and reliable detach mechanism, close to the riser fit and quietness that everyone talks about. The $50 price is also very nice - not too big of a hit in the wallet. If it turns out as good as I think G5 ought to sell a lot of them.

I have this quiver and it is just what I needed. The topic was about the headloc. A whole bunch of tightspot bandwagon jumping for a topic on a totally different brand. I always laugh at the people who jump on and make a dumb ass comment about something other then the topic. I just wish it was a little wider in the hood. 1 1/4 fixed blades are a little tight in the g5 hood.

Since my past post I bought a Head-Loc quiver but returned it the next day. I liked everything about it EXCEPT for the material used in the hood. G5 uses a rather hard plastic material to form the hood then covers it with a cloth type material that provides the camo or carbon fiber look. They also have a sown on cloth type edge surrounding the lower edge of the plastic hood. There's also no noise dampening material inside the hood. As a result, when I removed my arrows with broadheads, they knocked against the inner plastic hood material, making a fairly loud noise that I'm sure any game animal within close range shooting distance would hear. I also found the lower edge cloth material was very easily cut by errant contact with the cutting edge of my broadheads, making me thing it would take long for this edge material to be cut up and frayed in short order. If the Head-Loc had the same rubber or similar noise dampening inner hood liner as my Kwikee quiver and didn't have the outer and lower edge made from cloth I would still own the Head-Loc. I'd also like the hood to extend downward more than it does so it would cover broadheads more so. Hopefully G5 will take these observations as constructive criticism and resolve these issues. If they do I will put it back on my list as a viable replacement for my current quiver.

As to the weight, it weighs 9.0 oz, according to the packaging.

I found it informative,,thank you for posting up pics and a nice little review..I was going to pick one up for my wifes bow and this helps me along..:thumbs_up

I generally agree but what specifically is so much better about the tightspot (from someone who has experience with both)?

I have no experience with either but I understand the tightspot to be a fixed quiver whereas the G5 is removable so I'm not sure they are even comparable. I don't shoot fixed quivers (invariably screws up balance which I hate) but I do have some interest in the G5 as it looks like it could be the best removable option out there (and surprisingly reasonably priced which I don't really care about but noteworthy nonetheless.

Tightspot quivers are removable.

Wrap some tape around the outside and shoot it with flex seal or bed liner in a can, would be like coating the inside and edge with rubber. Tape is to protect cloth from overspray obviously.
